Last week the 20 Phanatic Around Town statues were collected and moved to Citizens Bank Park where they are currently on display during Phillies home games along “Phanatic Walk”, located right inside the Third Base Gate.

On Saturday September 11th, fans who would like to view the 20 popular Phanatic statues without purchasing a game ticket are invited to the ballpark with their cameras for a “Phanatic Walk Photo Event”, taking place while the Phillies are on the road.

The festivities begin at noon and the fun doesn’t stop with the statues as the 2008 World Series Trophy and 2009 National League Championship Trophy will be on site for photo ops.

Other entertainment includes face painting, balloon artists and of course, a special appearance by the Phillie Phanatic (from noon to 1 p.m.).

Fans are also able to take photos with the statues during all home games at Citizens Bank Park, or while taking ballpark tours, until the end of the 2010 baseball season.
