The weather this weekend should be perfect for channeling your inner Bacchus at the The 8th Annual Brandywine Harvest Festival.
Hosted by the Brandywine Valley Wine Trail, the Harvest Festival brings together eight Pennsylvania vineyards along the Brandywine Valley Wine Trail to celebrate the bottling of the 2010 vintages.
Over the course of the day, you can visit the eight wineries, all located in the Brandywine Valley, to take part in the harvest celebration. Activities at the various wineries include wine tastings, tours, concerts, hayrides, barbecues, grape stomping and more.
Participating wineries include: Black Walnut Winery, Chaddsford Winery, Kreutz Creek Vineyards, Paradocx Vineyard, Patone Cellars, Penns Woods Winery, Stargazers Vineyard and Twin Brook Winery.
A $30 passport fee will grant you access to all eight wineries through December 30, 2010. Some evening events may have an additional fee, so check the website before hitting the trail.
