Tomorrow night Phillies shortstop Jimmy Rollins will have the honor of flicking the switch that will illuminate all of Citizens Bank Park, which has been decorated with thousands of bright lights for the holiday season.
At 5 p.m. Rollins will lead off at the 24-foot Phillies Holiday Tree, surrounded by fans, carolers, Phillies ballgirls and the Phanatic, moonlighting as “Phanta Claus.”
The event, free and open to the public, is part of this weekend’s Phillies Holiday Sale & Food Drive at the Majestic Clubhouse Store at Citizens Bank Park, which is adjacent to the Third Base Gate.
