Mauckingbird Theatre Company presents [title of show], a musical comedy straight from Broadway, at the Adrienne Theater now through January 30th.
With the New York Musical Theatre Festival deadline just around the corner, struggling writers Hunter and Jeff decide to write an original musical in three weeks. With the help of songstresses Susan and Heidi, four chairs, and a keyboard, their project, entitled “[title of show],” quickly becomes a production about its own creation.
In other words, it’s a musical within a musical within a musical.
This quirky comedy about creative expression and taking risks is uproariously funny, and the talent is stop-you-in-your-tracks fantastic. Don’t miss this.
Performance schedule and tickets are available online.
