Memphis Taproom To Officially Open Its New Beer Garden And Hot Dog Truck With A Launch Party This Saturday, April 23

Don’t look now, but Fishtown is soon going to have two of the best (and only) beer gardens in the city.

While Stephen Starr is targeting a May opening for his beer garden around the corner from Johnny Brenda’s, Memphis Taproom is getting the beer garden season underway this Saturday when they officially open their brand new outdoor beer garden and adjoining hot dog truck.

The festivities will commence with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at noon, followed by a day-long celebration — appropriate, since the party is also meant to mark the taproom’s third anniversary.

Expect a special draft list all day long for the celebration, plus hot dogs (with lots of delicious toppings) from the truck.

The Beer Garden will be open through October, seven days a week. And you’ll be able to grab and go from the garden and the truck: hot dogs and cans of beer are available for takeout.

Bonus: Memphis Taproom will be showing Phillies night games outside, with a new projection TV set-up. Also stay tuned for a potential movie night series in the near future.

All in all, it sounds like an absolutely wonderful addition to the neighborhood.

Awesome! This is only 2 block from my house. I hope dogs will be allowed.

Quick Note: Silk City also has a beer garden.
