Now Open: Frankford Hall, Stephen Starr’s New Beer Garden Bringing Brews, Brats, Ping Pong And More To Fishtown

The overcast weather might not have been perfect for opening day at Frankford Hall on Tuesday, but patrons were nonetheless able to enjoy a few beers outdoors. (Photo courtesy Starr Restaurants)

We have lift off.

While this weather probably isn’t ideal for the opening of Stephen Starr’s new beer garden, we are just happy to see that Frankford Hall finally opened its doors yesterday.

The new indoor/outdoor beer garden officially opened yesterday afternoon on Frankford Avenue in Fishtown, bringing what is sure to become an awesome new summer dining, drinking and gathering destination.

For details on the space, the food and the beer, check out our preview post from last week.

One potentially good thing about the rainy weather during opening week: it might keep the crowds at bay, giving you an opportunity to to check the place it out before it gets super popular. Also keep in mind that in addition to the 240 seats outside, there are another 160 inside… Enjoy!

Despite some of the negative things I’ve heard already (and trust me, I always take initial reviews with a grain of salt), I’d still like to check it out for the beers!
