Opa Restaurant Introduces Glendi Thursdays, Outdoor Celebrations Of Fashion, Art, Music And Photography

One of Midtown Village’s newest restaurant additions, Opa, has launched a new weekly series titled “Glendi Thursdays,” named after the Greek word for party.
And partying there will be. The inaugural Glendi Thursday, June 9, takes over Sansom Street from 13th to Broad Street for a giant fashion show block party showcasing collections from Philadelphia’s best-loved designers and boutiques.
Expect designs from Carmelita Couture, Commonwealth Proper, Nahu Ollin, Matthew Izzo, Priscilla Costa, Bus Stop Boutique, Modern Eye and Rock & Soul Apparel Company. Music by DJ Rahsaan will accompany the show.
It’ll be a spectacular fusion of all the artistic wealth Philadelphia has to offer. We can’t wait to see what’s in store for future Glendi Thursdays.
