Bassett’s Ice Cream is sponsoring this year’s festival in honor of their birthday, so you’ll be able to enjoy the tasty frozen treat on site where its been sold since 1893.
Bassett’s is the first ice cream brand in the entire country to mark a 150-year anniversary, according to City Paper.
It’s a sweet story behind a brand Philadelphia is proud to provide a home for. Celebrate the legacy this weekend.
