Jose Garces’ upscale tapas joint Tinto will host a tasty new happy hour beginning August 16: “Tinto Tuesdays,” featuring food for $2 and drinks priced at $5 and under from 5-7 p.m. every Tuesday.

You can toast to “Tinto Tuesdays” either at the bar or in the adjacent dining room, making for a festive atmosphere that recreates the lively Basque experience.

Dishes include: Baby Artichoke Pintxo (tapa), Pickled Tomato Pintxo, Pulpo (Spanish octopus) Pintxo, Portuguese Sardine Pintxo, Shortrib Montadito (a Spanish sandwich), Duck Confit Montadito, Butifarra Montadito, Pan Con Tomate Montadito and Goat Cheese Montadito.

Drink specials include a $5 specialty cocktail, $4 red and white glasses of wine, $2 select draft beer and half priced sangria.

With food and drink flowing, “Tinto Tuesdays” promise to become your next go-to happy hour.
