Fringe Pick: The Wedding Consultant, A One-Man, Five-Role Show At The Walnut Street Theatre, September 2-18

Veteran Philly actor Eric Singel’s celebrated one-man show The Wedding Consultant is back for Fringe Festival 2011 by popular demand: he’ll be performing at the Walnut Street Theatre, September 2-18.
The Wedding Consultant is the hilarious story of a wedding gone horribly wrong, focusing on the trials and tribulations of Iris Holcombe, a wedding consultant who is forced to plan a gay wedding.
The play isn’t about taking sides politically when it comes to marriage; but rather, it’s about celebrating the absurdity inherent in weddings themselves, something to which nearly everyone can relate.
Check out a sneak peak performance video of the show from its 2007 premiere.
Tickets are available online.
