Drexel University Presents Half the Sky: Women In The New Art Of China, An Art Exhibition On View Through November 12

Featuring 60 works of art by 22 contemporary female Chinese artists, Half the Sky: Women in the New Art of China is on view at Drexel University now through November 12.
Co-curated by the National Art Museum of China and the Leonard Pearlstein Gallery of Drexel University, this survey-scale exhibition is the first of its kind in the U.S.
Representing a cross section of gifted women artists currently working both inside China and in the Chinese diaspora, the artworks on display feature painting, photography, sculpture, video and installation.
The exhibition is free and open to the public. Exhibit hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. For a full list of featured artists and more info, click here.
