What better place is there than costumed-all-year-round Sesame Place to celebrate Halloween?

The park’s month-long celebration of Halloween is cracking, with tons of not-too-spooky fun for parents and children alike.

The Count’s Halloween Spooktacular features two themed mazes (The Count’s UN-Haunted Castle Maze and Abby Cadabby’s Magical Halloween Maze), a character hayride, three Halloween shows, rides and more.

This year Sesame Place will have an all-new Neighborhood Street Party full of Halloween elements, like floats and parade stops with music and performances by the Sesame Street characters. To add a little Halloween flair, candy corn will be strewn from Cookie Monster’s float and Bert and Ernie will be dressed in silly costumes.

Here’s a run-down of some stand-out events:

October 15-16: Grover’s Birthday Bash. The party includes a buffet dinner, appearances and sing-alongs with Sesame Street friends.

October 22-23: Abby Cadabby’s Fairy Pumpkin Party. This hour-long party will consist of a buffet, singing and dancing.

October 29-30: The Count’s Halloween Party. Celebrate Halloween with The Count. Included in the merrymaking is a buffet dinner, appearances and sing-alongs with Sesame Street friends.

October 30: Halloween Costume Contest. Don Halloween costumes along with your kids and compete in Sesame Place’s annual costume contest. There will be competitions for boys, girls, and families. Contest times are as follows: boys at noon, girls at 12:30 p.m., families at 2 p.m. Winners are invited to be special guests in the Neighborhood Street Party parade at 4 p.m.

Now doesn’t this sound like fun for everyone? And when we say “everyone,” we mean “everyone.” It’s a boo-tiful thing.
