If you’ve ever taken a food or cooking class, you may have mastered how to make a fancy five-course meal, but do you know what beverage to pair with it? Never fear.
Tryst, the chic new bar below Le Bec-Fin, is hosting cocktail and wine classes on Wednesdays this fall to teach you the ins and outs of food and wine pairings.
Tryst’s expert mixologist Erik Lombardo and sommelier Cristine Bruno will teach these intimate 90-minute lessons from 5:30-7 p.m.
Each class will have a seasonal theme and alternate its focus between cocktails and wine. A flight trio of the highlighted drinks, as well as nibbles to complement each nip, will be served during the class.
The class schedule is as follows:
• October 19: The Manhattan
• October 26: Bubbles, A Look at Sparkling
• November 2: The Old Fashioned
• November 9: Best Autumnal Reds
The price of each class is $25 and reservations are strongly suggested. Call (215) 567-1000.
