Supper’s Fried Chicken Named One Of The Best In The Entire Country By Food & Wine

Food & Wine recently released their ranking of the best fried chicken in the country, and Supper’s Jewish Fried Chicken made the cut!

Chef Mitch Prensky’s locally-sourced Supper keeps good company on a lineup that includes such big-timers as Willie Mae’s in New Orleans, Momofuku and Ad Hoc.

Supper also reps Philly as the only Philadelphia restaurant mentioned on the list.

The Jewish Fried Chicken, $8, is available on the hors d’oeuvres menu during dinner service at Supper, Tuesday through Sunday.

It’s cured with a pastrami-spiced brine, then coated with a mixture that includes more pastrami seasoning, then fried. The chicken is served with garlic pickles and fried matzo balls. Delicious.
