Reading Terminal Market is serving up more than just good eats this holiday season, with the return of the Reading Terminal Holiday Railroad, kicking off Friday, November 25 and running through Saturday, December 31.
The ornate model railroad display, a must on your holiday to-do list this year, measures in at a whopping 500 square feet, and twelve working train lines wrap around the bustling market while moving through detailed miniature holiday scenes of Center City Philly, a festive Christmas Village, the Town of Lincoln Logs and a winter wonderland snow-covered countryside.
While you’re wandering through the elaborate display, be sure to enjoy some live jazz, soft rock, or piano music playing through the market, including The Reading Terminals, playing the 2nd Friday of every month, American classics by Kenny & Jerry the first and third Thursday of every month.
And, as always, shop around the market for some holiday goodies from your favorite vendors. ‘Tis the season!
