Gas & Electric Arts Presents Hershel And The Hanukkah Goblins, A Humorous Holiday Tale On Stage December 20-31

Gas & Electric Arts, a wildly inventive local theater group, is adapting Eric Kimmel’s Caldecott-winning children’s book Hershel And The Hanukkah Goblins to the stage.
The Painted Bride Art Center will host the show December 20-31, and this is one you don’t want to miss.
Kimmel’s fun tale of hobgoblins who prevent a town of Jewish villagers from openly expressing their beliefs provides the perfect opportunity to use theatre to discuss universal issues about how we respond to cultural differences.
The show integrates actors with small and large scale puppetry and live musicians playing all original klezmer music.
Even if you don’t celebrate Hanukkah yourself, you’ll be able to connect with the show.
Kids will be amazed. Adults will be captivated.
