Manayunk Presents The 2nd Annual “Santa On Ice” Carving Demo, This Saturday, December 10
For the second year in a row, the Manayunk Development Corporation presents “Santa On Ice,” during which world-class ice carver Peter Slavin, founder of the “Fear No Ice” performance troupe, will carve and sculpt huge blocks of ice into a crystalline throne of ice for Santa Claus.
Santa will sit and pose for photos from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Be sure to bring a camera, plus some reusable shopping bags, as metered parking is free all day — perfect for holiday shopping along Main Street!
The event takes place at Canal View Park at Main & Cresson Streets in Manayunk. There will also be holiday music by B101, holiday goodies and more.
