Be a part of the holiday celebration as the Blue Cross RiverRink hosts a very special visit from Santa and His Friends this Sunday, November 11.

As part of the event, there will be two skating sessions, one from 12:30-2:30 p.m. and another from 3:30-5 p.m., with Santa arriving on the historic 1902 tug Jupiter and hitting the ice at about 1 p.m.

Santa won’t be the only one in town to visit with the kids, as a handful of other Philadelphia area mascots will be in attendance, including the River Rink’s own Rinky, B101′s Buzzbee, the Camden Riversharks’ Blueper and Finley, Wally Wawa and more.

There will also be a variety of free Santa-themed activities for the kids, which don’t require setting foot on the ice, including holiday face painting, free keepsake photos and arts and crafts, like decorating your own Santa hat.

And after Santa completes his skate, he’ll retire to his throne so that the kids can tell him what they want for the holidays this year.
