The Gershman Y Brings Back “The Moo Shu Jew Show,” A Christmas Eve Event Featuring Comedy And A Six-Course Chinatown Banquet

Gershman Y’s sold-out annual Christmas Eve event, a twist on the Jewish tradition of Chinese food on Christmas Eve, is back for a fourth consecutive year.

The Moo Shu Jew Show is an evening of Jewish comedy and a six-course banquet in Chinatown. Just as you’re cracking open your fortune cookie the show will begin. The show runs a little over 90 minutes featuring three headline comics.

The show features some of the funniest comedians from New York. In fact, the event was created by a comedian, Cory Kahaney, as a creative spin on Jews’ tradition of eating Chinese food going to the movies on Christmas Eve.

This event sold out last year, so buy your tickets early. Rest assured there are vegetarian options for dinner.
