Guide: The Philadelphia Auto Show Returns Bigger And Better Than Ever To The Newly Expanded Convention Center, January 28-February 5

The Philadelphia Auto Show features more than 700 concept, classic, luxury and exotic cars, with every major vehicle manufacturer represented. All vehicles are arranged by category, making it easy to navigate the 600,000 square foot display floor.

Thanks to the newly-expanded Pennsylvania Convention Center, this year’s Philadelphia Auto Show, January 28-February 5, will prove to be bigger and better than ever.

It’s set to be a one-of-a-kind experience that will include first-time events, more than 700 vehicles on display from approximately 40 worldwide manufacturers, all on exhibit on more than 600,000 square feet of display space.

Check out some key highlights of this year’s Auto Show:

Indoor Ride and Drives:

Toyota: Experience the Toyota hybrid line-up featuring the Prius C, Prius 3rd Generation, Prius V and the Camry Hybrid. Choose a vehicle and take a ride through the course located on the show floor!

Outdoor Ride and Drives

Cadillac: Test drive the CTS Sport Sedan, CTS Coupe, CTS-V Sedan, CTS-V Coupe, CTS-V Wagon, SRX and Escalade ESV on the streets of Philadelphia. Drive one, or try them all.

General Motors: General Motors will offer the opportunity for Philadelphia Auto Show-goers to test drive 14 different vehicles through their “Experience the Drive” event and take a drive through Philadelphia.

Kia: Kia Motors will have a four-day Ride and Drive event featuring the Optima and Optima Hybrid sedans, the Soul and the all-new Rio 5-door.

Pre-Production and Green Models

For those with an eye to the future, examples of 2013 models can be viewed at this year’s show, including Audis, Cadillacs, Chevrolets, Dodges, Fords, Mercedes-Benzes, Porsches, Volvos and more. A variety of the latest green models will also be on display, including the 2012 Nissan LEAF and Volvo C30 Electric as well as the 2013 Chevrolet Spark and Ford C-MAX Energi.

Exotics and Classics

Something old and something new can be seen once again this year. The 2012 Lamborghini Aventador and Mercedes-Benz SLS Roadster are just a few examples of some of the exotics that will be on display. Classics on-site will include a 1913 Mercer 35J Raceabout, 1921 Duesenberg French GP, 1936 Aston Lemans, 1966 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray, 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 and more.

Special Auto Show Hotel Packages

The Philadelphia Auto Show proudly announces its partnership with the Greater Philadelphia Hotel Association and Greater Philadelphia Tourism Marketing Corporation for its 2012 event. To encourage its 225,000 attendees who will visit Center City throughout the nine-day event, 19 area hotels will offer special rates during the run of the show.

Each individual who books an Auto Show hotel package will receive two complimentary tickets to the event! Other package benefits may include complimentary parking, breakfast, cocktails and more.
