International House Philadelphia To Host “Motion Pictures: Early Animation,” A Showcase Of Best-Loved Early Cartoons, January 12

The International House of Philadelphia in University City is hosting a fun, nostalgia-inducing event next Thursday, January 12 at 7 p.m.
Titled “Motion Pictures: Early Animation,” the event is a collection of animation showcasing work by some of the earliest animators.
They’ll feature some of the best-loved cartoon characters from the era: Mutt and Jeff in Mutt and Jeff and the Big Swim, Felix the Cat in Felix Gets the Can, Mickey Mouse in Steamboat Willie, Pluto in The Mad Dog and many more.
Hearken back to the era of black and white film, whether that’s your childhood or your parents’ childhood, and enjoy an evening of pure entertainment.
Tickets, $7 for students and seniors, $9 General Admission, are available online.
