Phoebe Esmon, head mixologist at The Farmers Cabinet, rolled out a brand new seasonal cocktail menu last night that’s as poetic as it is delicious.
“I was imagining a time when a lot more people grew their own food,” Esmon says of the prose filled menu offering libations like Spirits of Another Sort (grappa, yellow chartreuse, green pepper jelly, lemon, orange bitters) and The Bigger Light (blanco tequila, Meletti Amaro, grapefruit marmalade, raspberry/champagne shrub, star anise tincture, sugar).
Esmon adds that “all of the preserves, marmalades, flavored vinegars, etc. are made in-house.” Impressive.
