Opa Celebrates Its First Anniversary With Special Menu Offers And Charitable Acts This Weekend, February 10-11

It’s already been a year since the modern Greek hot spot, Opa, opened in Midtown Village, and instead of smashing plates and dancing around in a big circle, owners George and Vasiliki Tsiouris are celebrating the restaurant and bar’s anniversary by giving back to the community.
Named one of the “Top Ten Best Dishes of 2011″ by Philadelphia City Paper and “Where to Eat in 2012″ by Philadelphia Magazine, Opa toasts to a special $1 lunch and dinner menu featuring skewers, craft beer and Kormo bites for dessert tomorrow, Friday, February 10.
Plus, a portion of the proceeds from Friday as well as Saturday’s (Opa is closed on Sundays) services will be directed towards the Support Center for Child Advocates, a legal and social service provided for abused and neglected children in Philadelphia.
Join in the celebration, and show your support by helping Opa raise funds and awareness for an important organization in our city.
