Philadelphia To Try To Break The World Record For Longest Soul Train Line At 4 P.M. On The Art Museum Steps
To celebrate the life of Soul Train creator Don Cornelius, Mayor Nutter and hundreds of others will gather at the Art Museum steps to form the world’s longest Soul Train line. The Soul Train line was an iconic element of the historic show and many participants are planning to go all-out for the occasion, with platform shoes, afro wigs and other funky retro items. If you can’t resist the urge to boogie this afternoon, registration opens at 3:30 p.m. All you need is a good pair of dancing shoes! [Philly.com]
