The Academy Of Natural Sciences To Host Paleopalooza, A Fossil-Filled Dinosaur Extravaganza, February 18-19

If you love dinosaurs — and really, who doesn’t? — you need to get to The Academy of Natural Sciences on February 18th or 19th for the annual Paleopalooza festival.

Visitors to the museum will get to talk one-on-one with paleontologists about their work, watch as they work on the bones of a titanosaur, search for and keep their own fossils, or join in Dinosaur CSI and help solve a mystery that happened more than 65 million years ago.

Joining in the pre-historic fun is Dr. Scott Sampson from the hit PBS series Dinosaur Train. Dr. Scott will present an all-ages show, full of fun from his hit series, and a lecture for young adult/adult dinosaur enthusiasts.

Dr. Scott’s auditorium shows will be available for ticket holders only; get tickets here.

Members are also invited to have breakfast with Buddy from Dinosaur Train. If you aren’t a member, it isn’t too late to join! Buddy will also be roaming the museum all weekend.
