Last Chance: PAFA’s Henry Ossawa Tanner: Modern Spirit Exhibition Closes Sunday, April 15

Henry Ossawa Tanner: Modern Spirit, the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts’ exhibition of more than 100 works by the PAFA-taught artist Henry Tanner, closes Sunday, April 15.
If you hadn’t had a chance to see the exhibit yet, or you have but want to see it again, be sure to stop by the academy before it’s too late.
The exhibition includes 12 paintings never shown in a Tanner retrospective, the only two known sculptures Tanner completed as well as his career-making Resurrection of Lazarus from the collection of the Musée d’Orsay which has never before crossed the Atlantic.
Insider tip: PAFA has free admission on Sundays and extended hours every Wednesday evening.
