MANNA Kicks Off Its Fundraising Initiative, Meals That Matter, With A Tailgate Party Hosted By Eagles Players This Friday, April 27
It’s hard not to love a great dinner party: entertaining conversation, glasses flowing with vino, themed courses, an excuse to put on that new dress or bow-tie.
Put your dinner/brunch/BBQ/cocktail hour-organizing talents towards Meals that Matter, a new initiative that encourages you to bring together your nearest and dearest to have fun while raising funds for MANNA, the Metropolitan Area Neighborhood Nutrition Alliance, which prepares and delivers nourishing meals to individuals battling life-threatening illnesses.
MANNA is kicking off the Meals That Matter program with their very first Meals that Matter Tailgate Party joined by the Philadelphia Eagles and cheerleaders, this Friday, April 27, 5-8 p.m.
The block party invites adults, students and children to enjoy unlimited bites, brews wine and kid-friendly beverages while cheering on a special CHOPPED cook-off event with Eagles players, along with exciting raffles for Eagles gear and music.
Tailgate tickets as well as additional donations can be made and purchased online.
If you think you’d like to gather a crowd to host your own Meals that Matter event – think pizza party, cinco de mayo fiesta, Phillies baseball tailgate – visit MANNA’s site for more information and read about more ways to contribute (donate towards a Meals that Matter party or book a Chef’s Table Dinner) and support a helpful cause.
