Penn And St. Joe’s Baseball To Face Off In The Liberty Bell Classic Final On The Citizens Bank Park Field, Tuesday, April 17

You’re in luck: the Penn and St. Joe’s baseball teams are set to face off in the 2012 Liberty Bell Classic Final on the Citizens Bank Park ballfield, Tuesday, April 17 at 7:30 p.m.
The Liberty Bell Classic was conceived in 1992 as a way for local Division I colleges to compete against each other in a tournament as well as an opportunity for the schools to play on the big league field of Veterans Stadium.
The original eight schools were the University of Pennsylvania, University of Delaware, Saint Joseph’s, Drexel, Villanova, Temple, West Chester and LaSalle.
Originally all games were played at Veterans Stadium, but in 2004 games were played at local venues with the championship game being held at Citizens Bank Park. Which is what is going down next Tuesday.
Parking is free, tickets are just $5 and it’s an awesome opportunity to enjoy a night at the glorious Citizens Bank Park.
