South Philly’s Foodie Fest, Flavors of the Avenue, is back this Saturday, April 28.

The festival is held on a two-block stretch of East Passyunk Avenue between Dickinson and Morris Streets, which will be closed off for the day. There will be a free street festival with vendors, a craft market hosted by Crafty Balboa and a live outdoor concert at 12th & Morris from 3:30-6 p.m. with special guests Johnny Showcase and Cheers Elephant.

With a spate of new restaurants on East Passyunk Avenue since, an expansion of liquor sponsors and the addition of an awesome outdoor concert in Birra’s beer garden at the end of the day, this year’s event is shaping up to be the best yet.

More than 500 foodies have already purchased tickets to this year’s Flavors. Get your tickets online; today is the last day for pre-sale.

There’s a big top tent, so the event is rain or shine! Check out a full list of participating restaurants online.
