What do you get when you take some of Philly’s most popular artisans, gather them all together and have them showcase their wares in a historic Center City mansion?
This: Rittenhouse Fair & Square, a two-week-long pop-up shop beginning April 10, at Rittenhouse Square’s stately Art Alliance.
Open daily from 11 a.m-5 p.m. through April 24, the pop-up shop will feature handmade goods from five Philly favorites: Betsy Ann Paper (custom stationery), Giant Dwarf (hand-crafted hair accessories), Girls Can Tell (illustrated diagram housewares), Miss Millie (porcelain wares and wearables) and Made by Hank (hip handbags and clutches).
Rittenhouse Fair & Square will coincide with the grand opening of the Rittenhouse Tavern, the Art Alliance’s new restaurant, which opens April 24 and will be headed by former Le Bec-Fin executive chef Nicholas Elmi.
Another awesome piece of programming from one of Philadelphia’s preeminent art institutions.
