The 51st Annual Philadelphia Antiques Show Expands In Its New Location At The Convention Center, April 28-May 1

Antiques lovers, this one’s for you! The 2012 Philadelphia Antiques Show kicks off April 28, and this year, it’s bigger than ever, as it moves to the newly expanded Pennsylvania Convention Center.

One of the nation’s longest running shows dating all the way back to 1962, the Philadelphia Antiques Show is the premier show for Americana, offering seasoned collectors and new patrons the chance to go treasure hunting for fine and timeless antiques pieces.

56 booths will showcase 58 dealers and galleries offering an amazing selection of antique furniture, folk art, porcelain, textiles, jewelry, paintings and more. The show will also display Chinese art and porcelain, as well as English and Continental antiques.

A brand new addition to this year’s show are three designer showrooms that will showcase a selection of American antiques in modern American home settings.

Plus, be sure to check out the 2012 Loan Exhibition, Where History Meets Medicine: Antiques from the Nation’s First Hospital, which will highlight fine art, rare books, antique furniture and artifacts from the Pennsylvania Hospital’s Historical Collection.

Events include a preview party on Friday, April 27, guided show tours, New Collectors Night and more.
