Grab a few paperbacks this Thursday, April 12 to bring to the Free Library Foundation’s Raven Society spring bookswap at Sidecar Bar & Grille.

The bookswap starts at 5:30 p.m. and will run through Sidecar’s happy hour, which ends at 7 p.m.

As part of happy hour, all of the amazing beers on tap will be $1 off, Miller HighLifes and well drinks will be $2.50, call drinks will be $3.50 and there will be 1/2 price nachos, carnitas and chicken.

This is a great opportunity to stock up on some cheap new summer reading material, and also catch up on your spring cleaning.

If you bring a book for swap, there will be a $10 suggested donation, and without a book it will be $15. Raven Society members are admitted free of charge.

They’ll also be holding contests and prize giveaways, so be sure to add this one to the happy hour calendar.
