The Opera Company Of Philadelphia Presents Puccini’s Manon Lescaut, April 20-29

The master composer of La bohème, Turandot and Madama Butterfly crafts yet another soulful tale of boundless love in Manon Lescaut, being produced by the equally masterful Opera Company of Philadelphia from April 20-29. Sung in gorgeous Italian with English translations, the opera is very grand-scale, with opulent costuming and period wigs and starring major operatic voices, including Michelle Johnson, who is on tap to sing the title role in AIDA in New York this summer.
