The Philadelphia Black Gay Pride Organization Celebrates Its 13th Anniversary With A Week Of Events, Starting April 22

Philadelphia Black Gay Pride, Inc. was founded in 1999 to promote unity among African Americans and those of African descent who are sexual and gender minorities.
The organization celebrates its annual “Black Pride” Week starting April 26, with a roster including parties, workshops, outreach services and more.
A particularly special event is the 5th annual Mr. & Miss Philadelphia Black Gay Pride Pageant, this Sunday, April 22.
Other highlights include Speed Dating, a White Party at Whisper, a Penn Relays-themed Pride event at Tabu and a Love & Lust event at Mikey’s.
