Cabarets are always funnier when you’ve had a few, huh?
That’s what the Wilma Theater is thinking with their new Bond-themed Bearded Ladies Cabaret, an original show on stage April 11-15.
In Beards Are For Shaving: a 007 Cabaret, the gender-bending cabaret troupe will take on the famous secret agent by attempting to re-construct an entire Bond film using renditions of classic Bond music and original Bond-esque compositions.
Of course, you can’t have a Bond-inspired production without the iconic martini. So all-you-can-drink martinis are free with ticket purchase. Huzzah!
Offering a Bearded Ladies twist to the Bond standards as well as special guest artists Andrew Nelson and Dito Van Reigersberg of Pig Iron and Martha Graham Cracker fame, Beards Are For Shaving will prove an explosive night of cabaret.
Tickets start at $20 and are available at the Wilma Box Office, at (215) 546-7824 or on sale at the door. Ticket purchase includes admission to the show and all-you-can-shake martinis.
