It’s Official: Shake Shack To Open Next Wednesday, June 6; Take A Sneak Peek At The Opening Menu

Stop. The. Presses.
Shake Shack has an official opening date for it’s new Philadelphia location: Wednesday, June 6.
That means that we’re just eight days away from laying claim to our own location of the beloved burger stand from famed New York City restaurateur Danny Meyer. (They were fast too: it’s less than a year after they first announced they were coming to Philadelphia last June.)
The location of Philadelphia’s Shake Shack is at 2000 Sansom Street right across from Village Whiskey in the fabulous foodie company of Capogiro, Tinto, Melograno and Il Pittore.
Shake Shack gave Philadelphians a small taste of what to expect at the Rittenhouse Row Spring Festival and its Preview Party, dishing up custard. That was just a tease; the joint is much more than an ice cream shop (although its custard is freaking delicious).
The “roadside stand”-style menu consists of burgers (which use a custom La Frieda blend), dogs, custard, fries and shakes. Perfect summer fare.
And you’re in luck; we have the actual Shake Shack Philadelphia opening menu included below. There are even a few Philadelphia-themed menu items… (check out the “concretes”).
Take a look. Get hungry. And get ready.
We know we are.

I absolutely picked the wrong time in my life to stop eating meat, between this and my Cali visit (in and out) later this year.
However that shroom burger sounds mighty nice so I will be partaking.
Please add me to email list!
Get with the times, Shake Shack, and offer some veg-friendly options! It’s not that hard to serve veggie burgers and/or dogs, ya’ll.
I’ll be the girl ordering the full menu, can’t wait!
Erin, there are plenty of other options. No need to try to browbeat Shake Shack into bending to YOUR whim.
And they DO serve a vegetarian burger.
A ny establishment that doesn’t serve sabrett dogs but those hideous Chicago mutants. What is so wrong with those Vienna beef dogs that they have to hide it under all that crap? Just like their “pizza”
So how many ounces is a burger? That would be helpful in deciding a single or double
Thank goodness they didn’t ruin the menu by adapting to local custom and putting provolone on every thing.
Philly takes yet another step into the 21st century and it’s open until 11:00 p.m. WOW!
Wish they had a whole wheat bun, one with no caramel coloring. I’ll still eat there though.
