Peddler’s Villages Goes Back In Time With Civil War Days, May 11-13

Peddler’s Village takes visitors back to the mid-19th century armed with muskets, brigades and skirmishes between the Union and Confederate troops during a weekend of Civil War events and reenactments, May 11-13.

Beginning Friday, 11 a.m.-2 p.m., community and school groups can visit nine living history stations at the village to watch cavalry and artillery units in battle and President Lincoln deliver the Gettysburg Address while enjoying musical performances.

The remainder of the Civil War Days schedule is as follows:

Saturday, May 12:

• Civil War Wedding Reenactment, 11:30 a.m.
• The Sixth New York Independent Battery Artillery Demonstrations, noon
• Providence Brigade Regimental Brass Band of Rhode Island, 3 p.m.
• Battle Skirmish between the Union and Confederate troops, 4 p.m.
• Candlelight Camp Tours, 8 p.m.

Sunday, May 13

• Civil War Church Service, 11 a.m.
• The Sixth New York Independent Battery Artillery Demonstrations, noon
• Bucks County Civil War Round Table
• President Abraham Lincoln re-enactor
