The Rittenhouse Row Spring Festival, one of Philadelphia’s most anticipated festivals of the year, attracting more than 50,000 people from across the entire region, returns next Saturday, May 19 from noon to 5 p.m.
The festival takes over Walnut Street from Broad to 19th, and showcases the city’s finest food, fashions and entertainment.
Dozens of restaurants will be manning booths along Walnut Street all day long, dishing out samples for your enjoyment. Including the not-yet-open Shake Shack (!!).
There’s also lots of live music, a fashion show, free wine tastings, a (new this year!) meet and greet with Chef Kevin Sbraga and a live culinary challenge featuring face-offs between Starr Restaurant Organization chefs from the eight Starr restaurants in Rittenhouse Square.
There will also be a dessert tent featuring Starr’s sweetest desserts.
Stay tuned for our handy guide to experiencing the festival but, for now, block off the day on your calendar. This is Philadelphia festival season at its finest.
