Every week is Shark Week at Adventure Aquarium in Camden this summer.
Through September 3, it’s Shark Fest at Adventure Aquarium, which will be housing the largest collection of sharks on the East Coast as well as the only two “great hammerheads” in the United States.
The collection features 16 species with 70 sharks all in enormous underwater exhibits including a 40-foot tunnel, offering visitors a uniquely immersive experience. Guests will also have an opportunity to get up close and personal with live sharks that they can actually touch.
The summer-long shark celebration will also include an exhibit highlighting the largest shark to ever live: the megalodon. This ancient marine predator could reach up to 60 feet in length and had teeth larger than the human hand.
Adventure Aquarium’s 5,000-foot exhibit will feature a lifesize megalodon replica that guests can walk through, specimens of some of the other largest sharks and fish in history and four of the most enormous megalodon jaw fossils ever discovered.
Admission starts at $23.95 for adults and $17.95 for children with 4D theatre tickets featuring Sea Monsters: A Prehistoric Adventure available for an additional $3.
