Independence Seaport Museum Opens A New Community Gallery Exhibition In Conjunction With “Art In The Open,” Opening June 15

Missed your chance to check out this year’s Art in the Open? No worries, the Independence Seaport Museum’s got you covered.
Beginning June 15, the museum will host Art in the Open: The Exhibition, a special art show featuring works created by a variety of artists during the recent Art in the Open event.
On view through September 9 in the museum’s second floor community gallery, Art in the Open: The Exhibition offers visitors a chance to (re)visit the works initially created outdoors along the Schuylkill River banks. For a list of participating artists, click here.
The exhibition is free with museum admission.
Insider tip: Extended Summer Hours are in effect through October 6, which means the Seaport Museum is open until 7 p.m. on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays!
