Start your Independence Day festivities early with the Friends of Penn Treaty Park on Saturday, June 30, from 6:30 p.m. on, starting with live music and a fantastically fun fireworks display over the Delaware River to follow.
Grab your blankets or lawn chairs and spread out over seven acres of beautiful open green space and clean picnic areas. There are even new playgrounds for the kids.
And the whole family can jam to the sounds of the classic rock cover band Fusebox all night long.
The Friends of Penn Treaty Park is a community organization dedicated to preserving and enhancing the beauty and usefulness of historic Penn Treaty Park – all based on William Penn’s vision of a “green country towne” on the Delaware River.
Penn Treaty Park is located just off N. Delaware Avenue at the corner of E. Columbia Avenue and Beach Street.
