Philadelphia Theatre Company To Host “The Great American Musical Summer Film Series,” Kicking Off Wednesday, July 11

We can’t get enough of film series this summer and here’s a new one to keep on the radar.

Starting on July 11, Philadelphia Theatre Company will host The Great American Musical Summer Film Series on four consecutive Wednesdays in July, featuring musicals that will have you dancing and singing along.

From Barbra Streisand to Jennifer Hudson, this series highlights some of America’s favorite actors and actresses in their best musical roles.

Enjoy these films at the Suzanne Roberts Theatre, home of the Philadelphia Theatre Company, on the iconic Avenue of the Arts. You can be sure to beat the heat and have a relaxing night of family fun in this beautiful air-conditioned venue.

Each screening begins at 7 p.m. Classic movie theater candy and refreshments will also be available.
