President Obama stopped by the Franklin Institute last week for a campaign event and made sure to find time to view the latest exhibition on display at the The Franklin, Dead Sea Scrolls: Life and Faith in Ancient Times.
The exhibit features ancient artifacts more than 2,000 years old, including fragments of the Dead Sea Scrolls and the oldest known handwritten Book of Genesis, on display for the very first time in North America.
It’s always cool to see Philadelphia earn national attention, and a visit from the President is quite an honor.
Dead Sea Scrolls is on display through this October, so be sure to check it out for yourself.
