So the Food Trust's Night Markets just continue to get better and better, and now there's a new VIP Night Market Experience complete with a VIP Pop-Up Tent curated by Quest Loves Food, with food, music, beer and more. (Photos by R. Kennedy for GPTMC)

The next Night Market is quickly approaching — it’s coming to Washington Avenue and the Italian Market on Thursday, June 28. And we have some pretty cool news to announce about it.

Quest Loves Food will be headlining the VIP Night Market Experience. (Quest Loves Food is the food venture from Questlove, drummer extraordinaire for The Roots and culinary gourmand.) What does the Quest Loves Food Pop-up at Night Market mean? Well, for one it means that Quest Loves Food will be in charge of the food and music inside the Night Market’s Pop-Up VIP Tent.

The VIP Tent will not only have food and music curated by Questlove, it will also have unique cocktails from Farmers’ Cabinet featuring local liquors from Philadelphia Distilling as well as bottomless beer from Yards Brewing Company.

Our very own Philly Homegrown™ And With Art Philadelphia™ campaigns are both sponsoring this edition of the VIP Night Market Experience with Quest Loves Food, so there will also be local art on hand.

And, of course, the much-talked-about but harder-to-find “Love’s Drumsticks,” the signature dish of Quest Loves Food, a gourmet piece of Creole-seasoned, buttermilk fried chicken, sourced locally from Lancaster County, will also be available. And it will only be available in the VIP Quest Loves Food Pop-Up.

VIP tickets are $55 (with a $75 PLUS ticket to support Night Market) and supplies are limited. VIP tickets are on sale now online.

An important note: Night Market Washington Avenue will, of course, still be the Night Market you know and love: free admission and pay-as-you-go street eats with a lot of choices less than $5. The Quest Loves Food Pop-Up is a VIP Experience to help fund future Night Markets.
