Remember that dream you had as a kid of an unlimited ice cream buffet stocked with tub after tub of deliciously creamy cold rocky road and mint chip and cookie dough?
Wawa Welcome America’s making that dream a reality with the return of the Super Scooper All-You-Can-Eat Ice Cream Festival.
This Saturday and Sunday, June 30-July 1, head to the Penn’s Landing Walnut West Parking Lot, at Columbus Boulevard and Walnut Street, for a bottomless frozen treat fete.
A $7 donation to the Joshua Kahan Fund for Pediatric Leukemia gets you a spoon with which you can sample ice cream and ice from more than 20 vendors.
Both days come with entertainment as well; enjoy free concerts all weekend plus Saturday, June 30 is the first of two free fireworks displays (the second being July 4th).
Even better, the Taste of Philadelphia food festival overlaps with Super Scooper so you can start out your afternoon with savory eats and end it with dessert.
