The National Constitution Center’s celebration of our nation’s birthday rocks out big time, with the Bruce Springsteen-inspired Independence Day: Fourth of July Kick-Off Party, on Thursday, June 28.

Presented in conjunction with its popular exhibition, From Asbury Park to the Promised Land: The Life and Music of Bruce Springsteen, the event features live music, American-inspired picnic food and drinks.

Festivities take place on the center’s Grand Hall Overlook and picturesque outdoor terrace. Patrons get after-hours access to the Springsteen exhibit, which offers a comprehensive look at this master musician’s career and song catalog.

There’s no mistaking the distinct American quality that permeates Springsteen’s lyrics, clothes, guitars and even his motor vehicles, which include a prized 1960 Chevy Corvette.

Certain areas of the exhibit, such as the section covering the Born in the U.S.A. album, and the Seeger Sessions, are sure to exude extra resonance when viewed in the context of American Independence Day.

This party is the third in a fabulous trifecta of parties hosted in conjunction with the Bruce exhibit, and judging by the caliber of the last two, this one is going to be awesome.

Tickets for this one are selling fast, so it you have your heart set going, reserve your spot at the party now.
