Tickets Now On Sale To Catch The Dark Knight Rises, The Epic Conclusion To Christopher Nolan’s Batman Trilogy, In IMAX At The Franklin Institute, Friday, July 20

Tickets are now officially on sale for IMAX screenings of what will undoubtedly be one of the most awesome cinematic experiences of 2012: The Dark Knight Rises, the epic conclusion to Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy.

In this third movie, Batman returns eight years after the events of The Dark Knight to protect Gotham City from a new terrorist leader: Bane.

The movie opens nationwide on Friday, July 20. The Franklin Institute will be holding 19 showings of the film on its five-story IMAX screen over opening weekend (“Dark Knight ’til Dawn”), with the premiere at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, July 20.

Showtimes will then be scheduled every three hours for the next three days. Yup, that’s approximately 72 hours of Dark Knight.
