Chef Ben Puchowitz of Matyson restaurant is turning out a new tasting menu this week that has our stomachs performing somersaults of delight.

The BYOB took home Philadelphia Magazine’s Best of Philly award for “Best Tasting Menu” due to Puchowitz’s cleverly put-together rotating tasting menus he offers up each week.

With the restaurant’s new win, the chef has been inspired to prepare a “Best of Philly: A Tribute to the Winners” five-course menu to be served this week only through Thursday, August 2.

Nodding to George Sabatino of Stateside for “Best Chef”, El Zarape for “Best Taco”, Han Dynasty for “Best Chinese Restaurant” and Federal Donuts for “Best Fried Chicken”, Puchowitz’s $45 prix-fixe plates black bass crudo, tacos al pastor, dan dan noodles with ground duck and foie gras, chicken fried quail alongside zaatar spiced donuts and Puchowitz’s take on a mini coconut cream pie for dessert.

Drool-worthy, right? Reservations can be made by calling (215) 564-2925.
