Don’t know how to get over the hump day? Old City’s got you covered.
Unwind and cool down after work in one of Philadelphia’s most historic and upbeat neighborhoods.
Every Wednesday in July and August, Old City District brings you “Cool Wednesdays.”
From 5-8 p.m., enjoy the district’s numerous happy hours, from a cool martini and tapas at Stephen Starr’s Continental Martini Bar to half-price drinks and discounted food at local favorite FARMiCiA. The options are endless.
Afterward, peruse the art galleries (open late) or shop at the many boutiques, book stores and wine and gourmet shops.
The cobblestone streets and Penn’s Landing are perfect spots for a evening stroll. Watch the sunset over Race Street Pier, see a concert at Festival Pier or enjoy a relaxed dinner at one of the district’s top restaurants.
For those who can’t make it to First Fridays, this is the perfect opportunity to explore Old City!
