Reading Terminal Market Dishes Up Its Annual Ultimate Philadelphia Ice Cream Festival, Saturday, July 21

Here’s another dose of creamy sweetness to add to your weekend agenda.
Bassett’s, the country’s oldest Civil War-era creamery (it celebrated its 150th birthday last year), hosts The Ultimate Philadelphia Ice Cream Festival on Saturday, July 21 at Reading Terminal Market.
Serving everything cold and topping-loaded, Bassetts along with the Market’s own Miller’s Twist, Franklin Fountain, Uncle Dave’s Homemade Ice Cream and Rosati Italian Ice, will take over Center Court from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., giving you an excuse to give into your sweet tooth for breakfast, lunch and all day snackage.
The sixth annual event will also provide arts and crafts for kiddie cone lickers, live music and games to add to your spoonful of sugar.
